Romeo y Julieta

Affectionately referred to as ‘Romeos’ by longtime fans, Romeo y Julieta was founded in 1875, and at its peak, printed over 2,000 different cigar bands. A popular Havana brand, Romeo y Julieta upholds an impressive standard to superior quality despite having over 40 shapes and sizes. More notably, the brand has been credited to be an influence for the ‘Churchill’ cigar, which was created in honour of the late British Prime Minister, who took his cigar with a straightened paper clip inserted through resulting in unusually long hold on the ash and ultimately unnerving his guests (usually foreign heads of state) during gripping negotiations.
