El Rey del Mundo

'El Rey Del Mundo' (translated as "The King of the World") was founded in 1848 by the German merchant Emilio Ohmstedt, who also established another cigar brand—Sancho Panza. Ohmstedt chose the name "The King of the World" to reflect his commitment to crafting the highest quality Cuban cigars. The brand exclusively uses the finest tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region to ensure impeccable quality. By the mid-20th century, El Rey Del Mundo had become one of the most expensive and prestigious cigars in the world.
